How we make the process easier
Fire damage restoration is more than just cleaning and repairing the areas that the fire has damaged. You have to take in account how a fire can transform the foundation of your home as well as the contents within. These decisions can be difficult under the stress from what just happened. ConnReno will be with you every step of the way.
Restore, rebuild and recover
Most fire damage companies don’t offer complete renovation services along with repairs and restoration – ConnReno does. Our experienced contractors know how to get the most value out of the restoration process while working directly with your insurance company so you never see a bill.
What do our customers have to say?
Sharon, a long time Wallingford resident, suffered a substantial fire in the middle of the night. Listen to her story and how ConnReno helped put her home back together.
The process starts the day (or night) that your damage occurs. First we will secure your home and board it up to prevent further damage. We will remove debris created by fire fighters and we'll assess what damage has happened to your house. ConnReno will utilize water extraction devices, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, negative air machines, dryers & air movers as well as the equipment to winterize your home.
After assessing the damage and listening to your needs and talking to your insurance provider, ConnReno will start the demolition process to remove parts of your house that can not be restored safely or economically.
ConnReno uses a variety of methods to remove the damage caused by a fire. This includes dry ice blasting, media blasting and using air scrubbers to remove noxious particles from the air and all of the surfaces in and outdoor your home.
Re-wiring your electricity, plumbing and HVAC systems may need to be replaced, modified or repair. ConnReno can work with you and your insurance company to make adjustments to your home. This may include making your home more energy efficient or adding new features to your kitchen, bathrooms or other important areas of your home.
Once all the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC updates are addressed and signed off on, it’s time to tackle framing and drywall. It is at this stage where ConnReno will move and construct new walls (if needed) and update your windows, doors and finishing materials like wood floors, carpet, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tile and more.
