Dry Ice Blasting

Dry ice blasting is one of the best ways to restore your home after a fire.  It is ideal for the restoration of wood, concrete, brick and building materials because it’s fast, dries instantly and leaves little or no residue. Dry ice blasting removes charred wood, soot and gets rid of that burnt musty smell while it cleans – other companies can clean it, only ConnReno utilizes the very best methods to remove the smell that accompanies it.

In addition to Dry Ice Blasting, here are some of the other ways ConnReno restores your home after a fire.

Air Scrubbers

In most damage removal situations, it is necessary to use a portable filtration system to clean or “scrub” the air.  After fire damage there will be many dangerous particles that are found in the air.  ConnReno utilizes air scrubbers to remove noxious particles from the air by drawing them into several filters.

Media Blasting

Media blasting is a cleaning method that uses an environmentally friendly form of sodium bicarbonate to remove dirt and other substances from various surfaces. What makes this type of baking soda unique and different from standard baking soda is its crystal shape and size. It is largely sized, jagged, and irregularly shaped, which gives it special cleaning abilities. The pressure provided by the soda blaster will shatter the crystals. As the crystals shatter, the surface becomes cleaned and the crystals are turned into a fine powder.
